A recent CBS poll revealed that the public feels that the media is easier on Obama than the other candidates (who knew?). The media isn’t alone. Folks seem to be very defensive about Obama. You can see it in the forums, in comments, and in listener email. That’s what John Curry found after the June 7th episode of No Agenda. Some people felt that he and John Dvorak were unnecessarily bashing Obama. It is to this news that Dvorak said something very interesting.

Everybody is talking about recycling water bottles now-a-days. We probably should – the US alone purchased 26 billion water bottles in 2005. That’s up from 4 billion in 1997. Looking at my water bottles there is the little recycle symbol on the bottom. They look something like this:

So, in my curiosity, I wanted to know what those numbers meant. I had always heard about reusing only the good bottles and other folk-lorish warnings. So what do those numbers mean?

Alright, I am getting tired of the online political poll. They don’t work. I really enjoyed the digg article referencing an MSNBC poll. The link acted like it was some sort of legitimate vote. If we dugg it up enough and the poll was overwhelming, then congress and the entire American public would follow suit. And now Reddit is in on the mix, and a Political Lore Poll is on the front page. There are so many things wrong with this.
