Alright, I found a really neat image editor that transforms your photo into typography. Its a free service that allows you to upload a 50X60 px image that is transformed into a typefont. The generated type can be viewed as an image or HTML. I chose to use a copy of the four collar cool kid. Check out the result.
It’s not without its issues, but it is a neat service that can generate some very fun results. It reminds me of the rasterbator service that was very interesting. Generally it seems like darker images with greater contrast work out better, even with the colorization turned on. You don’t have much space with only 300 pixels, but you can still make some interesting results.
